Roger Forss, President

roger3a.jpg Forss Painting, Inc. has been in business since 1965. We are a family owned business and have been in the same location for the past 40 years. Over this time many family members have been employed with the company. Forss Painting, Inc. is a business founded on the principles of honesty, quality, and customer service. We are leaders in our industry, striving to be the best in the business. Our employees are a proud group of men and women who enjoy and take pride in their work. As Roger nears retirement age he is delegating more and more of the day to day operations to his son Luke.

Luke Forss, Vice President

luke1a.jpg Currently Luke is handling nearly 50% of the business. He is in charge of the operational aspect of the business while Roger oversees the personnel. Luke began working on a part-time basis at the age of 15 while still in high school. At first he performed the most basic tasks and was able to learn the trade from the bottom. Under the tutelage of his father and the experienced painters in the field Luke is now a master painter. Fifteen years of hands-on work in your chosen profession makes a huge difference in how you approach each and every job.

Ken McClure, Estimator

ken2b.jpg Ken is our painting estimator and home-improvement specialist. A member of the Forss Painting, Inc., team since January 2007, Ken has more than 20 years' experience in the construction trades. This expert can assist you in a wide range of home-improvement projects, from simple repairs to major renovations. With just one call to Forss Painting, Inc., Ken will handle all your needs for permits and evaluate quotes from the plumbing, electrical, and building contractors—from start to project completion. Ingrid Forss

ingrid1a.jpg Ingrid is the business administrator, and has been with the company for more than 15 years. She is an indispensable asset to the firm, ensuring that every detail of the day-to-day tasks gets handled in an efficient and timely manner. Her wide range of responsibilities includes preparing correspondence, bills, and other documents. She analyses and organizes such office operations and procedures as bookkeeping, preparation of payrolls, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services. When you telephone the office, you will probably be greeted by her friendly, pleasant voice, and your inquiry will be handled to your satisfaction.

Melody Shaffer

melody3b.jpg Melody is a key member of our office staff at Forss Painting, Inc. She has been on board with us since the beginning of 2005. An indispensable asset to our company, she ensures that every detail of the day-to-day assignments gets handled in an efficient and timely manner. When you contact her by phone, Melody will greet you with her pleasant, friendly voice. You will quickly learn that she is knowledgeable about our operation and that she handles your questions and requests courteously and speedily.

Field Employees

rogerf1.jpg Forss Painting, Inc. is able to maintain a work force of 15 to 25 employees throughout the year. Many of the crews have been with us for most of their career. Since we are based at the seashore our business increases quite substantially in the spring and summer season. This means we then need to double or triple our workforce. Because of all the experienced longtime employees we have it is easy to integrate these new hires into our company.
